Baitul Banafsaji retains SUTMA championship
Baitul Banafsaji retained the overall winner of the 16th Brunei Islamic College Sports inter-house tournament (SUTMA) held at Penanjung Garrison Mini Stadium in Tutong on 21/4/07. It was the third time Purple House has emerged champion since winning the competition in 2005.

Banafsaji (literally means Purple House) beat other four houses in six disciplines of sports including soccer, badminton and tenpin bowling held in stages since February 07. Purple House amassed 85 points, followed closely in second place by Baitul Azraq (Blue House) which collected 83 points and Baitul Akhdar (Green House) came in third with 82 points. A competition for the best logo, best parading house and attractive decoration category was won by Blue House, Red House and Green House respectively.

The final day of the tournament saw four categories being contested in track and field events in 100M, 200M, 4 x 100M and tug of war competition. Blue House emerged as the champion in the tug of war competition by overcoming its arch rival Purple House.

The chief guest, Acting Tutong District Officer, Awang Haji Haris Othman and principal of the college, Ustazah Hajah Omi Kslum Haji Mohd Noor gave away prizes to the winners in all competitions.
