Nostalgic reunion for “Classes of 78”

IT is now 29 years after the first intake of the pilot project scheme introduced by the then Jabatan Pelajaran (now known as Ministry of education) in 1978 at The Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science School in Berakas.

To evoke the nostalgic occasion, a reunion gathering was held recently (8/4/07) at Orchid Garden Hotel in Berakas for “Classes of 78”. The occasion has attracted some 100 former students from seven classes from 1A to 1G out of 210. Some of the former form teachers of each class were also in attendance in the event.

The organizing committee is planning to organize another reunion next year to celebrate its 30 years of its foundation.
